Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 21 1/2 oz steak sandwich
  • 2 3/4 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tsp basil leaves
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano leaves
  • 14 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium green peppers, diced

Directions

  • In a large skillet, crumble the sandwich steaks. Cook them until brown.
  • Add sandwich steaks to a large pot. Drain most of the fat from the skillet.
  • Add the olive oil to the skillet. Add the onions, green peppers, and garlic, cook until tender. Add to the large pot.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes and spaghetti sauce to the pot. Add the seasonings.
  • Heat over low heat until piping hot.
  • Serve sauce, 2/3 cup over pasta.
