- 1 unit chicken breast
- 3 medium sweet apples, halved and cored
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup shredded green salad mix
- 1 small onion
- 2 medium whole tomatoes
Directions
- Steam the chicken breast.
- Approximately 10 minutes before serving the chicken, add the apples to the steam.
- Serve with all mixed salad vegetables, optionally with a no fat dressing.
- Note: the apples are a lovely alternative to potatoes, pasta or rice and are very filing whilst light.
