  • 1 unit chicken breast
  • 3 medium sweet apples, halved and cored
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 cup shredded green salad mix
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 medium whole tomatoes

Directions

  • Steam the chicken breast.
  • Approximately 10 minutes before serving the chicken, add the apples to the steam.
  • Serve with all mixed salad vegetables, optionally with a no fat dressing.
  • Note: the apples are a lovely alternative to potatoes, pasta or rice and are very filing whilst light.
