- 1/2 tbsp basil
- 1/2 tsp ground oregano
- 2 tsps minced garlic
- 3 medium bell peppers
- 96% lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup young green onions, chopped
- 1 1/4 cups diced tomatoes & green chilies
- 2 cups brown rice
- 1 3/4 cups tomato sauce
- 3 cups beef broth
Directions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
- Place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook for approximately 6 hours on low.
- Note: use yellow, red and orange bell peppers to make the soup more colorful.
