Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps fish sauce
  • 4 tsps sweetener
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsps lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 fresh chilies
  • 1/2 large red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup boiling water

Directions

  • Mix boiling water and sweetener and set aside to cool.
  • In a blender, add the pepper, chili, garlic, salt and 1/4 of the sweetener liquid and blend until smooth.
  • Mix in the rest of the liquid.
  • Note: the sauce can be thickened with xanthan gum.
