Homemade tomato basil sauce that is great for pasta dishes.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups whole tomatoes
  • 2 tsps oregano
  • 2 tbsps basil
  • 4 cubes beef bouillon
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 medium onions
  • 1 medium red pepper

Directions

  • Chop and sauté mushrooms, peppers and onions with the garlic.
  • Chop the oregano and basil (but don't sauté).
  • In a separate container, mash up the whole tomatoes with your hands.
  • Add crushed beef bullion and the oregano and basil.
  • Add tomato mix to sauteed vegetables and simmer for 3-5 minutes on high heat.
