Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 16 oz lean ground turkey
  • 6 leaves fresh basil
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chopped onion yellow
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 4 habanero and jalapeno peppers

Directions

  • Heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté turkey, peppers, onion, and garlic with some dried basil, salt and pepper.
  • When turkey is almost done, add fresh basil leaves torn in pieces and tomato sauce.
  • Simmer for 20-40 minutes. Serve over pasta or rice.
