A nice, one pot meal you can throw in the crock for 10 - 12 hours and eat for days or freeze for later.

  • 16 oz turkey sausage
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup corn
  • 2 cups black beans
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 3 cups green beans
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 tbsps pepper
  • 1 tbsp season salt
  • 1 tbsp leaves basil
  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsps worcestershire sauce
  • 0.12 cup garlic, chopped
  • 8 2 oz servings turkey kielbasa

Directions

  • Slice the turkey kielbasa (or polish sausage) cross-ways, to may 1/4" oblong pieces. Brown each side in fry pan.
  • Brown the turkey sausage, in pan, remove grease, if any.
  • Add the meat, green beans, corn (optional), carrots, celery, onion, chicken stock, spices, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of liquid smoke, (except for fresh cilantro, to be added before serving), and fill crock with water.
  • Cook on low for about 10 hours, add seasonings to taste.
  • Note: you can add other vegetables and have fun with it!
