Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups white rice (long-grain)
  • 3/4 cup shredded colby & monterey jack cheese
  • 16 oz ground turkey

Directions

  • Brown and crumble ground turkey in medium to large skillet until no pink is showing.
  • Add taco seasoning; blend with meat.
  • Continue cooking meat for an additional 3 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • Add water and rice; cover and simmer until water has boiled away, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over top of rice mixture. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Cut mixture into 8 servings. Enjoy!
