- 32 oz tomato juice
- 29 oz tomato puree
- 1 1/2 cups dark red kidney beans
- 1 4/5 cup pinto beans
- 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup green peppers, chopped
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 1/2 tsps garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground oregano
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 lb lean ground beef
Directions
- Brown beef, drain and rinse.
- Chop all ingredients and rinse.
- Add all ingredients to a large pot, cook until boiling.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
