Salma Hayek offers a heartfelt message amid grief

Salma Hayek Grief

Salma Hayek posted a heartfelt message to followers on Instagram on Monday, sharing her grief at the sudden passing of one of her co-stars.

The actress shared a clip from her comedy film, Grown Ups, in which Alec Musser sets pulses racing in a hilarious shirtless poolside sequence.

The All My Children star died abruptly at the age of 50 on January 13, leaving his loved ones distraught.

Salma paid homage to him by writing: “In loving memory of Alec Musser.” He was nice, professional, and humorous.

“I am heartbroken by his early departure. I feel quite fortunate to have met him. My heartfelt sympathies to his family and loved ones on their great loss.”

She followed the remark with a black heart emoji and was quickly bombarded with responses from followers who expressed their grief over his loss.

Paige Press, Alec’s girlfriend, also reacted, writing, “Thank you @salmahayek for your wonderful remarks. I am Alec Musser’s fiancée, and he talked highly of you, and I know that working with adults was one of his fondest memories.”

While the cause of death has not been determined, Paige told Fox News that she believes he died from a “severe case of Covid”.

Alec was vaccinated and boosted before passing away at his home in Del Mar, California. Paige stated, “He was a very healthy person.” I mean, he took great care of his body and what went into it. He would eat some cookies, which was the worst thing I had ever seen him do.

“Alex was a nice man. He was the finest fiance. The ideal dog dad. Very kind-hearted individual.

“Seeing how many letters and individuals have reached out to me from his youth in the last few days, including people I’ve never met and who have sent me images of him from high school and their wedding. He was loved and affected by so many individuals.

She also said on her Instagram Stories, “Today is the worst day of my life.” “We were so happy…” “You were the best fiancé I could have ever asked for.”

Adam Sandler also paid tribute with a note to his Grown Ups co-star. “I loved this guy,” he commented, with a snapshot of Alec from the movie.

“Can’t believe he’s gone. Such a nice, hilarious, and decent dude. I’m thinking of Alec Musser and his family and giving all my love. A genuine, wonderful darling.”
