Snoop Dogg gives updates on his 24-year-old daughter in the hospital

Snoop Dogg gives Update on his Daughter

Her father, Snoop Dogg, has now provided a modest but encouraging update, indicating that his daughter will be released from the hospital shortly.

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, is still recovering after an unexpected stroke last week, but she is gradually improving.

Cori, who is only 24 years old, posted about the medical issue on Instagram on January 18, saying, “I had a terrible stroke this morning. I started weeping when they informed me,” and: “Like, I’m just 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this?”

Speaking with People at the Los Angeles premiere of his new comedy film The Underdogs, Snoop said that his daughter is “doing a little bit better,” and that the health issue has undoubtedly put life in perspective.

Cori is one of the rapper’s four kids. In addition to Cori, he has Corde, 29, and Cordell, 26, with his wife Shante Broadus, whom he has been married to since 1997, and Julian, 26, with his ex-girlfriend Laurie Holmond.

Though Cori had previously been upfront about her Lupus diagnosis, which she got when she was six, she has stated in subsequent hospital updates that doctors are currently investigating the reason of the stroke.

On January 23, she posted an Instagram Story from the hospital, stating that she would “most likely” be discharged the next day.

She also posted a video of herself on her way to undergo a CT scan of her chest, “to see exactly what caused” her stroke, and assured her fans that “when I get out, I’m going to share everything more in depth [for real].”

In September of last year, she told People about her Lupus experience and how she felt “better than I’ve ever been” after going “all natural” with her meds.

“I stopped taking all of my medicine like five months ago,” she said at the time, adding: “I’m just doing everything natural, all sorts of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started exercising out and consuming plenty of water. So now I believe my body is saying, “OK, this is the new program, and she’s getting used to it.”

She went on to say, “I’ve been on medications since I was six years old, and I’ve always relied on them. So I wanted better for myself.

“I wanted to make a change because it had become too much. I’m only 24 years old and take ten to twelve medicines every day. So I basically went cold turkey.”
