The Mental Health Status Report and Diagnosis of Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra Wilkinson and her mental health

Kendra Wilkinson, a reality star, recently disclosed in an emotional interview with People that she had just been through a private struggle with her mental health experiencing both psychosis and despair.

After experiencing a panic attack in September, Kendra, who is 38 years old, disclosed to the publication that she was admitted to the hospital. It was then that she declared, “I was dying of depression.” The moment I realized that my life was coming to an end, I entered a state of madness. I had the impression that I was no longer brave enough to continue living.

After a week had passed, she was readmitted to the hospital and prescribed an antipsychotic drug before heading home.

During the middle of the 2000s, Kendra initially rose to prominence as a result of her participation in the reality show The Girls Next Door and her status as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, who was the founder of Playboy. Kendra has gone on to have two children and has also made appearances on a number of other reality series since that time.

During the interview, Kendra stated that she had experienced unresolved trauma as a result of her divorce from Hank Baskett, a former NFL player, in 2019, as well as the time she spent living at Hefner’s house. It was her statement that “Playboy really messed up my entire life.”

In spite of the fact that I would never intentionally end my own life, I found myself praying to God, “Please take me.” Kendra pleaded with the outlet, “God, please take me.” “The most difficult thing to accomplish was to agree to take the medicine. That meant I had to come to terms with the fact that I suffer from a mental disease, which was something I did not want to have to do.

Kendra has been attending outpatient treatment ever then, and she claims that she is making progress in overcoming her depression.

The condition known as depression is not something that can be cured. One thing that sticks with you throughout your entire life is this. You simply need to have the ability to accept it and learn to deal with it,” she stated. “It is a component of who I am. My treatment helped me construct this tool set, which was one of its many benefits. Therefore, I am now in possession of the strength—I am in possession of the strength and the foundation that I require in order to triumph over my sadness.
