The Story of Meghan Trainor’s Weight Loss Journey

Meghan Trainor and her Weight Loss Journey

Meghan Trainor is enjoying life and appears to be in excellent health and spirits. The “Mother” singer recently uploaded a series of adorable photos of her family, friends, and herself during dance practices, captioned, “I love this little life.”

Clearly, Meghan is prospering as a new mother of two. She and her husband, Daryl Sabara, received their first son, Riley Trainor, in February 2021, and their second son, Barry Bruce Trainor, in July 2023. “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin-to-skin time,” she posted on Instagram following Barry’s birth.

Meghan has already discussed how being a parent has shifted her outlook on health. “I think having a child makes you understand how lovely and precious life is. I want to be the best for my child. “I’ve never been more motivated,” she told Parents for her March 2023 cover story. “I look at Riley and think, ‘I’m going to do anything I can to live forever.'”

Meghan Trainor also talked about how her children motivated her to lose weight so she could be the healthiest and happiest version of herself.

The singer told candidly about her weight loss after giving birth to Riley. “I was the heaviest I had ever been. I weighed 200 pounds. “I wasn’t feeling well,” she told the tabloid. “I’ve never had stitches, so to have this C-section scar, I was in a really dark place, and I wanted to be in a great place for my son.” Meghan claimed it encouraged her to make certain lifestyle adjustments.

“I discovered that I enjoy healthy foods, and I learned what portions mean,” she told Entertainment Tonight Canada.

Meghan also told People that she dropped weight in a “healthy, long, one-pound-a-week way.” And it’s a proud accomplishment that I never imagined I could achieve.”

The “Me Too” singer told Entertainment Tonight Canada that she works out every day and pushes herself. “I figured, ‘If I can survive a C-section, I can do anything.'” “And I did,” she clarified. “I was really devoted, and I began to observe weight loss one week at a time, one pound at a time. “I said, ‘I’m fighting.'”

Meghan told Entertainment Tonight Canada that she feels terrific after her workout session. “My brain is so happy when I exercise,” she told me.
