Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup whole cranberries
  • 4 medium pork chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  • Heat 12" skillet and oil on medium until hot. Add chops and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook 12 minutes until browned but very slightly pink in center then transfer to plate.
  • Add water, cranberries, vinegar and sugar to skillet. Heat to boiling scraping up browned bits from pan.
  • Add juices from chops on plate and cook 2 minutes until thickened slightly.
  • Pour sauce over chops and serve.
