Britney Spears reminisced on the last year in an emotional statement, opening up about her anxiety and other concerns as she looked forward.

As the end of 2023 neared, the singer turned to Instagram, releasing a snapshot with lettering that said, “Dear Past, thank you for the lessons.” “Dear Future, I am prepared!”

Spears, on the other hand, used the caption to offer a significant message about her previous troubles, beginning with, “Father forgive me but I’m not ready!!!” I’ve gone through too much this year, and I need to relearn how to breathe and live in the present moment without being fearful or anxious.”

She went on to say that “staying busy in certain moments has saved my life,” and she expressed a wish to have a plan for things like horseback riding as well as “reason and meaning in my life.”

The 42-year-old, who is divorcing spouse Sam Asghari, also apologized for “not being perfect” and losing her anger, adding, “I’m only human.”

After asking for advice, Spears closed the emotional email by saying, “Thank you for my baby Snow… “She’s like God to me, and I’m so grateful to her!!!!” she says of her newest pet, a little dog named Snow.

Spears appeared to have some challenges this year, but she also had some significant achievements. According to Forbes, the mother of two launched her book, The Woman in Me, on October 24, and it sold 1.1 million copies in the United States in its first week.

The Woman in Me contained several insights about Spears’ history, with the singer discussing her family, music career, conservatory, and other topics.
