INGREDIENTS
For the thousand island dressing:
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon minced dill pickle
1 teaspoon sugar free sweetener
1 teaspoon finely diced onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar free ketchup
salt & pepper to taste
For the big mac salad:
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup diced dill pickles
1/3 cup finely diced red onion sesame
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
one head of iceberg lettuce or green leaf lettuce, shredded
seeds & fresh dill for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix all the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside.
2. Raise the heat to medium-high in a skillet. Add the ground beef. Cook until nearly browned, then crumble.
3. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir. Cook the ground beef until it’s thoroughly done. Take off the heat and allow to cool.
4. Combine the iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickle, and pickle in a bowl to make the burger bowl. Add shredded cheese and the ground beef mixture on top.
5. Pour over dressing for Thousand Island. Add some fresh dill and sesame seeds as garnish.
