Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes
  • 15 oz kidney beans (drained)
  • 5 stalks medium chopped celery
  • 2 tsps chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsps garlic, chopped
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 can beef broth

Directions

  • Brown the ground beef in a pan and add the chopped onion and celery until onion is clear.
  • Place bhe beef, onion and celery mix in to a 5 qt slow cooker and add all other ingredients.
  • Stir and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
