Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups whole grain white flour
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup evaporated skim milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 yellow corn meal
  • 2 tsps baking powder

Directions

  • Mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • Make a well in the center and add wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour into greased 8x8" pan.
  • Bake at 400 °F (205 °C) for 20 - 25 minutes.
  • Cut into 9 pieces.
