  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tsps ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsps baking soda
  • 3/4 cup molasses
  • 3 cups flour
  • 600 g granular splenda

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Spray glass 9 x 13" pan with cooking spray.
  • Pour applesauce, molasses and oil into large mixing bowl. Add eggs and stir well.
  • Blend remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Add dry ingredients to applesauce mixture, stir well.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool pan on a wire rack, approximately 20 minutes.
