Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped red peppers
- 1 cup chopped or sliced tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp or 1 packet mustard
- 1/4 tsp black pepper ground
- 1/2 tsp hot pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped scallion (2 stalks)
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 0.12 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp orange rind
- 1/2 tsp thyme, crushed
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Place in 1-pound loaf pan (preferably with drip rack) and bake covered at 350 °F (175 °C) for 50 minutes.
- Uncover pan and continue baking for 12 minutes.
