  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cups red cabbage, chopped
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 6 tbsps ground flax
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tsps chili powder

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the red cabbage and onions until just soft.
  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • Shape into a loaf on a non-greased baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 75 minutes or until an internal temperature of 160 degrees is reached.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
