Tori Spelling revealed her and Dean McDermott’s son Liam had foot surgery after the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum disclosed the 16-year-old had fallen.

Tori Spelling revealed that her and Dean McDermott’s eldest son, Liam, had foot surgery, and the mom of five is now providing details of the 16-year-old’s healing process, adding that Liam “did great.”

“It’s going to be a long journey,” she said beside a Dec. 14 Instagram Stories snapshot of Liam’s bandaged foot. “But we take it day by day.”

Tori then went on to explain why the treatment was necessary, saying, “Liam fell down the stairs at home and has been in pain and immobile since.”

After six weeks of “no healing,” Tori revealed that his “navicular accessory fractured bone in [the] right foot” had to be removed, and his tendon had to be “reattached to his main bone with a metal hook rod.”

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star also thanked those who helped her kid throughout his recuperation.

“Thx to everyone for Liam and sending him messages and calls and [heart emoji] and humor before and after his surgery,” she said in a statement. “It meant a great deal to him. He was overjoyed.”

Tori and Dean, who divorced earlier this year after 17 years of marriage, have three children: Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6. (Dean also shares custody of his son Jack, 25, with former Mary Jo Eustace.)

Tori sent a beautiful tribute to Liam’s 16th birthday earlier this year.

“Where has the time gone?” she asked on Instagram in March. “For the first time, my Liam Aaron made me a mommy. My entire life altered the instant I realized he was growing inside of me. It’s for the best. I realized I’d never be alone. “My entire life journey and perspective have shifted.”

Time passed in the blink of an eye for Tori.

“You are now 16,” she said. “You’re taller than me.” In so many ways, you’re looking after me. Keeping an eye on me. To hug you, I have to stand on my tiptoes. But you’ll always be my baby.”
