It has been announced that popular comedian Kenny DeForest died at the age of 37. Ryan Beck, the star’s buddy and fellow comic, broke the news through a new GoFundMe page put up by Kenny’s family and friends to fund his significant medical expenditures.
“Kenny DeForest is and was a truly positive influence on all the lives he touched,” the statement goes on to say. “Kenny died on Wednesday, December 13th, surrounded by his parents, family, and friends, at Kings County Hospital.” Kenny’s dying moments featured some of his favorite music, childhood anecdotes, and memories of his overwhelming positivism and excitement for life.”
“Kenny’s life will live on through the gift of organ donation.” Even after death, he will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of others.”
“Our dear friend Kenny DeForest was in an e-bike accident on Friday, December 8th.” At Kings County Hospital, Kenny underwent neurological surgery to remove a portion of his skull and alleviate pressure from a brain hemorrhage. All of the funds raised here will be used to assist Kenny’s family in covering his large medical expenses.”
Following the announcement, Ryan Beck disclosed further facts regarding the tragic e-bike accident near Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
“An EMS report provided us with additional information today.” Kenny was riding an e-bike when he fell,” he told Deadline. “I spoke with crossing guards today and am still looking for more information.” There is no police report since the incident was not first thought to be a hit-and-run.”
Kenny had a successful career as a stand-up comedian before to his death, and had even been on Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Fans paid respect to the 37-year-old after learning of his passing on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Man, Kenny DeForest’s death has left me and my wife completely devastated over the last few days.” He came to Springfield for his annual visit and concerts around Thanksgiving break, and we only met him and chatted to him briefly three weeks ago. It’s impossible for me to believe. “His set was also fantastic,” wrote one.
“I started doing stand-up comedy in New York about the same time Kenny DeForest arrived here, and it felt like the overall mindset was ‘being polite to everyone is the wisest and greatest way to behave yourself.’ “I’m only now realizing how uncommon that is and how much of it must have been due to him,” said another.
